The term relevancy plays important roles in each process of search engine promotion of a website. Whether you are finalizing the keywords, optimizing the website with keywords or doing link building for your website, if there is any confusion in relevancy, the promotional campaign can be mislead. Generally from relevancy we understand ‘related to’, however the specifications of relevancy varies in SEO depends upon the situation. Here I am discussing some relevancy factors that can have a great impact in a website’s success on web. From SEO perspective, there are lots of definitions for relevancy on web. Keywords, content or link partners that represent or can impact your website/services most would be best relevant to your website.
Keyword Research: As keyword research is a complete topic in itself to discuss and we’ll also discuss it in our future posts. However from relevancy point of view, a keyword that is focused to your website services/products will be best relevant. During keyword research, each keyword should be relevant and focused to website services and products rather than website industry. We can understand it better from following example -If you are searching for keywords for the website of a dentist, here targeted audience would be the people who are looking for dentists services. Then you should not take keywords like “dental equipment” however it is relevant to the industry still it is not be able point targeted audience.
Keyword Grouping for Website Optimization: You need be more detail oriented in this practice. After have finalized the keywords to be targeted on your website, you now need to group them to distribute on different pages of the website. If you are grouping the keywords in such a way so that all related keywords will be targeted on same page then the relevancy gain would be maximum.
Link Building: A link should be able to pass relevance and importance to the website on search engines as well as relevant referral traffic. There is no specific scale to measure the relevancy. However, we can have a fair amount of idea if it will be useful to place your link on particular website if
• The industry segment of that website is exactly same as yours
• People interested in product or services offered by that website might be interested in your products or services as well. For e.g., people interested in a trip to Hawaii might also be interested in scuba diving or parasailing.
• If your website provides supporting services or accessories for the product. For e.g. people buying an iPhone might also be interested in buying a case/cover for their iPhone.
The above mentioned points are not only valid from search engine perspective but from user perspective as well. If we ignore the user intent and consider only how search engines work, then opposite of last point mentioned above is equally true. In some cases where your website’s industry is not general then you might have problem to find relevant link partners for your website. Then you can search for broad industry relevant link partners to do link exchange.
So be careful next time, all it needs is a little thought process and business sense.

The user interface is a web page of a site. It consists into different sections mainly like logo, header, top navigation, main image, left panel, introduction text, featured images, submission forms, bottom navigation, copyright, etc..
The users interact with these interfaces to get information from the website. They give command by clicking menu buttons or submitting forms. The user interfaces helps in explaining the flow of any website program or company business. The poorly designed interfaces adds very little value to any business program. The website also can’t generate leads if interfaces are not designed effectively. It should be user-friendly, easy to navigate, interactive, use color scheme as per the industry type and visually impressive. The homepage should be designed completely by placing all main information, navigational links, intro text, highlight latest happenings, main products as per the project type, so that users will not leave the site frequently.
The call to action buttons should be there on homepage and inner pages so that users must know the next step to follow in any website. Each and every interface should have at least one primary call to action like “Call Now: Toll Free No.”, “Sign Up Now”, “Download Now”, etc.. The call to action button should be big and highlighted with different color. It should be placed where the user can find it easily. The language use in call to action should be short and to the point. The call to action really helps in improving conversion rate on the website.
Design interfaces effectively by using web friendly fonts as specified by World Wide Web consortium. The example of fonts are “sans-serif” normal fonts – Arial, Arial Black, Arial Narrow, Helvetica, Trebuchet, Verdana; “serif” normal fonts – Times, Times New Roman, New Century, etc.. The font size commonly used is 11, 12 pixels as per the design layout and for users comfort. It would be great to use font sizes in %, in this case font size adjusted according to user’s screen resolution.
Each and every interface should be well optimized for Search Engines. Search focused keywords to optimize the interfaces. It helps in increasing the ranking of website on search engines. The web-pages should be validated from W3C.org. It helps in improving the quality of complete website. The validated web pages load fast and quickly indexed by search engines.
The user interface should include total user experience which includes the aesthetic design with good color scheme, impressive images, useful content, call to actions, simple navigation that easily explains the business logics, encourage first time visitors and convert them into leads.

In today’s competitive world, you need to advertise belligerently to stand out and promote your services on the internet. We have loads of marketing tools available on the internet but the one that is used popularly these days is Social Media Optimization. SMO can be described as simple online tools that people use to share their experiences, reviews, insights etc. The main objective of social media is to increase the visibility and presence of a site online. This all can be achieved by focusing on some popular channels like :-
There are some rules which one must keep in mind when using social media for promotion :
Initial research and study: Know the requirements of your client and study it carefully so that you can leverage only the specified channels based on demography, profession, lingo etc.
Profile Creation: Create a profile on the basis of your client’s requirements. Know the right social media community that would be suitable for your profile. For e.g. Indian’s generally participate in networking sites like-Orkut, Bharatstudent, Bigadda etc; Faceparty,Friend Reunited are popular networking sites in UK…
Conversations and Participation: An important rule to keep in mind is that you have to look “real” and not “fake”.Why would someone check a link you posted in his/her profile ,when you did not even bother to converse with that person after becoming friends. Start conversations ,share a simple joke ,build a rapport with that person so that he can trust you.
Correct pitching in discussion sites:Forums are the most critical part of SMO. You have to be very careful while posting threads in forums. Never give you link in the first post. The moderator will surely ban you. Try participating in ongoing conversations and reply something informative so that the trust factor builds up.
Create educative content: If you are creating your blog on wordpress or other blog sites, you have to be sure of the content contained in that post. People will visit your blog only if they see value in your post.
Popularize your site: Creating your content is not enough. You can populate it using different social bookmarking sites like Delicious,Stumble Upon or even creating your page on wikipedia. This would surely boost up your sales.

“An employee’s motivation is a direct result of the sum of interactions with his or her manager”- Bob Nelson
A company primarily depends on its employees. Their right behavior towards work and the company would build the success story for that organization. Hence, it’s very important for team leads to ensure that their employees are enthusiastic towards work because it’s the employees who have to complete a task. An employee will give his best only if he is motivated, which in turn would enhance his productivity and improve an organization’s survival and success rate.
Penned below are some of the tips that are necessary for an employer to keep his employee motivated:
Be Motivated: An employer cannot motivate his employees unless he himself is not motivated. Remember one golden role ”Never mix professional life with your personal life”. Whatever problem maybe troubling you, never take it out at your employee because it would deteriorate your relationship and hence decrease his competency.
Know the things that motivate your employees: Prepare a list of questionnaire and ask your employees to fill it so that you can know about their likes and interests. Organizing special events like competitions, training programs, picnics etc. will refresh them and would energize them.
Treat the employees equally: Never be biased towards someone. Allow individual ideas to flow and involve your employees in every discussion so that he has an in depth knowledge of the work assigned to him. Creating favoritism will only lead to de-motivation among other employees.
Recognitions and Achievements: Appreciate good work done by your employee. This will not only boost his morale but also encourage him to be more proactive in future.
Remember that good and healthy environment always make its employee more vibrant and motivated and hence enhance success rate of an organization.
