Therefore, if you notice slight drop in site saturation, link popularity or rankings for few keywords don’t panic unless it is followed by significant traffic drop. A penalized website will have drop in rankings for almost all keywords thereby reducing the traffic search engine traffic considerably.

In case your site has been hit by penalization or being banned from search engine, you may get a notification through these interfaces. Moreover, you can file a re-inclusion/re-consideration request through Webmaster tools interface. Be sure to remove any unethical techniques that you have deliberately using before filing a re-inclusion. But the re-inclusion request can be quite slow and lengthy unless you website is popular or well known brand.
