Every RedAlkemist is excited and talking about it almost daily. It’s the topic of discussion during lunch as well as evening tea breaks. It’s none other than the RedAlkemi’s own branded t-shirts.
Black background and rubber imprint of RedAlkemi logo in front looks stylish yet elegant. The shirt brings a sense of uniformity among team members. It adds to the professionalism as well across the board and there is obvious increased productivity.
Friday has been decided as RedAlkemi t-shirts day.
The RedAlkemi t-shirts have been designed keeping into mind the different styles for girls as well for boys. T-shirt for girls is V- neck and for boys is round neck.
We have already worn it the last Friday and again waiting for the next Friday!

Recently we started Team Building Activities for RedAlkemi employees. As always wanting to have fun and break out from the routine work pressure & stress. It has been quite refreshing for all of us here. We have always believed in learning and if it is through various activities it is all the more better.
This instills a lot of confidence in employees to learn and experience whatever they want to learn under the roof of RA.
With the help of our experienced trainer we play different games like save an egg, cricket, drawing competition between the teams and many more…all with the idea of learning something in the end and become stronger as a team.
Along with other trainings, team building activity is conducted on alternate days as a regular exercise. TBA also helps to motivate our employees to contribute on a larger scale and help RA to have a better workplace.

This year we celebrated Diwali in a very different and unique way. We organized “Dandiya or Garbha Nite” on 15 October 2009 in the evening. Dandiya Raas, is a traditional dance form in India which is performed during Navratri (festival) in Gujarat. In Dandiya or Garbha, men and women dance in two circles, with sticks in their hands.
All were asked to come dressed in ethnic wear or traditional wear. DJ played special Gujarati folk songs for Dandiya Night. Everyone had fun dancing to folk numbers with Dandiya Sticks in hands.
One tradition which is attached to Diwali Festival is ‘Rangoli’ making. We invited entries for Rangoli Competition in teams. We received seven entries of four to five members in each team. HR had a really tough time to decide on the winner of the competition. All the teams were creative and came up with beautiful rangolies. (Pictures attached below)
Exchanging gifts with all near and dear ones also marks the festival of Diwali. RedAlkemi presented its entire staff members with a unique gift, a Bamboo Plant in a small pot and Eggless Homemade Cake with a special message,
‘Dear RedAlkemist,
We hope you enjoy your eco-friendly Bamboo Plant and keep it on your desk as a symbol of green and peace! May the special Eggless Homemade Cake add sweetness to your Diwali this year.
Wishing you a very Happy Diwali!’
A healthy, green plant brings a lively energy into the home and this little plant adds a lot without asking much of you.
Celebrating Diwali in unique and traditional way was not only fun but memorable as well.

Today as a routine after coming to the office while checking my daily mails, it strike to me how nice it feels to work in an employee friendly environment. As soon as I come to the office, the first thing I do is check my mailbox and click on“RedAlkemi’s Box of Knowledge” mail sent by HR which includes a Quote of the day, Health tip and Amazing fact.
Next I check if there is any “Happy Birthday” e-mail. Happy Birthday e-mail is a birthday wishes mail sent by the HR team to the person whose birthday it is. It includes a lovely bouquet picture, birthday boy’s / girl’s sun sign followed by the information on famous people with whom he / she share his / her birthday, general prediction based on the sun sign and the email address of the person, so others can wish him/her as well. This mail also works like a reminder mail for others to wish their colleague(s). I always come to know whose birthday it is on a particular day even before I check my mailbox. How? Oh! It’s really simple, that person’s workstation is decorated with beautiful ribbons and colorful balloons.
You know what – I am always aware of the latest happenings in the IT industry as HR makes sure to send weekly “Top IT News” email to all the employees. So now you know the secret, it’s not only me but also all RedAlkemi employees, who are always aware of the latest happening in IT industry.
I also come to know when some new person joins our organization as we get induction e-mail. It includes his / her name, designation, qualification, interest and email address.
Now let me tell you about an interesting thing. We have something called fun profile. You can check one’s fun profile by clicking on his/her name under signature lines in the email. In fun profile you’ll find the information about the person like his hobbies, interests, favorite food, what he is scared of etc. So next time whenever you receive any RA employee’s email, make sure to click on his / her name in signature line to learn more about him / her. Believe me its fun!
