RedAlkemi conducts a seminar on leadership

Several times in our daily lives, we find ourselves facing a t
ough choice,a choice to lead or to follow. Now depending on certain genes and our upbringing, some of us are more inclined to lead, whereas others are more comfortable following. Being a leader is not easy, as being a leader is a lonely position, in comparison with that of their followers. All responsibility for success (or failure) lies on their shoulders.
So as an endeavor to help recognize the leader in us, a seminar was organized by the RedAlkemi HR Department (Preeti Raina & Divya Vashisht to be precise) at Entertainment Center on 13th Dec 07. The speaker was Mr.Abhijit Bhattacharya - Sr.Manager ,Trainings at ICFAI - Hyderabad.The seminar was attended by all the Team Leads and Senior Management of RedAlkemi who were eager to add new tools to their management skill arsenals. The focus of Mr. Abhijit Bhattacharya during the entire seminar was primarily to help us differentiate between good managers and outstanding leaders. He conveyed his perspective with some solid live examples including principles and policies followed by John Adair.
The appreciation emails sent to the HR by all those RedAlkemists who attended the seminar are a reflection of what a hit the seminar turned out to be. We are all looking forward to attending more of such seminars which will help us to become better leaders.
