Abstract
Flash referral is the online website that enables individuals from various professions like Health Care, Technology, Photography, Financial services etc to subscribe on the site and form a network with other professionals, to promote their products and business. Likewise group of Referral users can form a community of their own. These referral users can also reach professional service providers to get their services and can enter into a network with them. They can further refer most efficient professionals to their community members. This helps the professionals in creating a unique place for them in the entire community. There is another feature of “Educational library” where the professional users submit the content related to their areas of expertise, which can be a source of information for the referral users as they can get some tips from the content. Reward points are given to professionals per the popularity of the content written and the services provided by them. Thus the website is a perfect source to get service providers and services seekers, form a network and avail maximum benefits.

Requirements
The main challenge that was faced by the client was to develop such a website that included all the features to cater their needs. So they approached RedAlkemi to have the solutions to following problems:

• To design a website that is user-friendly, robust, can scale up with growing needs and can serve visitors efficiently.
• To include such features in the site that helps in improving the website functionality and its relevance.

Our Solutions
In order to accomplish all the objectives, our Technical team worked in the following areas:

• First of all, the designing team worked on how the website will look. Various designs were created as a sample and at last the design that accomplished the site’s objectives was finalized.
• After the design was final,the next step was to develop the various modules that to provide different functionalities in the site.
• The task of development of modules was carried out according to the client’s specifications.
• A feature was added in the project video conversion. This was to enable the users to convert videos uploaded in any format to FLV format.
• Load Balancing: Websites is hosted on multiple servers and is being managed with load balancing technique to handle high traffic.

From start to finish the project took 1.5 years to complete, which included all tasks like designing, development, editing modules as requested by the client etc.
