RedAlkemi is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company providing Web Development, Design and Online Marketing services since 1986. RedAlkemi today has Over 400 clients spread over North America, Europe & Australia, covering diverse service and manufacturing industries. Being an online service provider, their website is one of their most important sales channels. Their main marketing goal is to derive as much targeted traffic to their website as possible.

Challenges:
Though the company website www.redalkemi.com was Search Engine friendly and had a lot of keyword rich content, their link popularity needed some fine-tuning to be at par with top competitors in the industry. Being in one of the most competitive industry segment, the site needed to improve its link profile in order to gain rankings in Search Engines. The large set of keywords the site was using, ranged from highly competitive generic keywords to moderately competitive focused keywords to long tail keywords. The challenge was not only to improve Search Engine rankings but also have a better brand visibility.

Solution:
In recent past, Google has been allocating lesser value to the links coming from link pages having multiple outgoing links but very little content. Even though these link pages may have higher PR, our experts calculated that links from such pages would not deliver enough weight unless they have substantial highly relevant content on them. As a strategy, it was decided to secure quality links from content pages. The content links team identified relevant articles across several sites and secured links using carefully prepared Anchor Text & Descriptions for each link. Each link was obtained from a webpage having highly relevant article, not having more than 10 outbound links. Care was taken not get links from any bad neighborhood sites.
