In effect they were competing against these sites as well.
Solution
A link building campaign was initiated to get rankings on generic keywords. This steadily improved the site's ranking for the keywords over time. As a result of the improvements in rankings over a period of time the campaign was extended to further improve the rankings and also target other important keywords to get a broader coverage of ranking. |
