Donation campaign for Old Age Home
As a part of its regular CSR activities, RedAlkemi organized donation campaign for Old Age Home (Sector 15, Chandigarh) today on 23rd November 2010. The employees and the management contributed generously for this campaign. The total amount donated was used to buy necessary things such as Bed Mattress, Cooking Pan and Medicines, etc., for the old people. The list was provided to us by the concerned authorities only.

Adopted a local School
RedAlkemi adopted a Government School Manakpur Shariff. This school lacked many basic amenities like fans, furniture, washrooms etc. We tried to provide all the facilities that we could in this school and also formed a committee with the help of the local villagers. This committee will co-ordinate with our Company on timely basis to see what more can be done for the school. The school provides education to the students upto class 10th.

In Collaboration with Theater Age
Mr. Zulfiqar Khan, Dept of Indian Theatre graduate from Punjab University runs an NGO called Theatre Age in our City Beautiful, Chandigarh (India). This NGO work towards the upliftment of slum children. They provide these children education and help them in getting jobs so that they can earn a good living. In order to generate funds for this noble cause, the NGO collects old newspaper from homes, institutes, offices etc. Anyone can just call them up and inform when can they come and pick the old newspaper. RedAlkemi with many of our employees collect all the month's newspaper and give it to them on regular basis.

In Collaboration with Rotary Blood Bank
RedAlkemi has organized several blood donation camp at our organization wherein we encourage all the staff members to donate blood. We also encourage our employees to ask their family members and friends to donate blood as well. Our organization was felicitated by the Rotary Blood bank as the only organization in Chandigarh, that has been actively involved in organizing blood donation camps. Mr. Divya Vashisht from RedAlkemi received the award of honor on individual level.

Maa Sharnam Orphanage
Ms. Kalpana Ghai, runs an Orphanage in city Mohali. This orphanage has about 10-12 members in the age group of 5-20 years old. They ensure good education to all the children along with all the basic requirements for the children. All the staff members came together to donate the necessary things to them.
