Heritage Transport Museum is a non-profit organization in Gurgaon, India. It was conceived to document, exhibit, educate and disseminate information about transportation in India. It started off as a passion for collecting all forms of objects related to transport and eventually turned into India's first comprehensive transport museum. The museum showcases the evolution of transportation in India and sets a benchmark in interpretation, exhibition and in communication.
Although this museum is one of its kinds in India, it lacked popularity amongst the masses. It was not an established entity in the online space for people to discover, recognize and enjoy and for it to become so, there was a need of building awareness among the public about the Heritage Transport Museum vehicles and its historical importance as well as creating a general mindset among people that museums are more about fun and creativity, rather than being boring.
On that note, RedAlkemi helped push Heritage Transport Museum towards establishing itself as a well-known museum in India, specifically in the digital world. We implemented a monthly social media marketing strategy that worked in sync with targeted campaigns. All the content for social media channels was optimized as per the strategy and a detailed keyword research that was carried out. New content was created and curated. Updates about upcoming events were added and customer engagement was carried out on time.
